about me

about me

in this for the joy of it!

Since an early teenager, I’ve always felt that every day was worth 'dressing up' for.  I use to make all my own clothes, as "back in that day" you could get designer outfit patterns and make them yourself.  I had a Calvin Klein suit and a Perry Ellis pair of trousers!   I remember my first day at business college in a sea of friendly new student faces clad in jeans and jumpers and me in a Chanel style suit I had made the week before (well I was on a business studies course!).

Working my way up the career ladder I've used clothes to build my confidence, learning how to stand shoulder to shoulder often in male dominated board rooms, and eventually working for a charity supporting others, how to dress to raise funds from corporate donors and how differently I would look having fun days out with volunteers.

There's so much joy for me in helping women feel better about themselves through what they wear.  Your choice of clothes can truly change your life.

I am officially qualified through the London College of Style, and have also studied with the V&A and The Image Consultancy Company.  My life experience of styling includes as many friends as you might care to imagine.

If you’re thinking of a refresh, a complete restart or just want a conversation to see what’s involved, please drop me a message.   I'm sure we will find lots of joy in working together.
