This policy outlines what data (information) i-personal styling collects from you, how it stores and uses it. It does not cover the data collection or use by any websites or social media sites that you may use that are referred to or listed on this website or that I might refer you to through any communication we have.
i-personal styling is the brand name for the personal styling services run by Liz Gaffer and as such I am the ‘data controller’ of the information.
Data is collected both when you give it to i-personal styling e.g. signing up for e-news, or collected automa tically, e.g. through cookies on this website.
Data given by you to i-personal styling includes
• When you contact me through the website, email, social media, phone or post.
• When you sign up to my e-news, or other marketing communications.
• When you make a payment to i-personal styling
• When you provide data about you as part of a service I provide.
And this policy covers all of the above.
Data collected automatically
• When you use the i-personalstyling.co.uk website, social media accounts or marketing communications, some data will be automatically collected including your IP address, the date, the time you visited the site and how often.
This is collected to help me improve the site in the future.
How i-personal styling uses data
Both the data you give i-personal styling and the data that is collected automatically is being used to improve the services provided and improve marketing.
Your consent
When you buy one of my services I will ask you to provide personal information including contact information through the ‘your details and i-personal styling’ form. I will specifically ask you if you agree to receive further information from me, including that which forms part of your service e.g. summary of our learnings, and other information in the future. You can unsubscribe from e-news by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ button on this, and opt out of any other communication by emailing xxxxxx.
When you buy a service from me, the legal basis for this processing of information is the performance of a contract between you and me, taking steps at your request to enter into such a contract.
Third party use of your data
i-personal styling will not share your data with any other party without prior, explicitly consent from you.
Keeping your data secure
• Personal information, including contact information provided when you buy a service is held in a password protected file by i-personal styling and only accessed and used by myself, Liz Gaffer for the purpose of providing services or marketing communication to you.
• Any information collected by paper based forms are stored in a locked cabinet, again only used by myself, Liz Gaffer for the purpose of providing services or marketing communication to you.
• Email addresses are stored within my account run by ionos.co.uk, again password protected.
If you suspect any misuse or loss of unauthorised access to your data, please email me immediately at liz@i-personalstyling.co.uk.
How long i-personal styling holds your data
• For the period you are a client and receiving a service or marketing communication from i-personal styling, or until you request for your data to be deleted.
• Some of your Data may remain in a back-up or archive for legal, tax or regulatory purposes.
Your rights and Data include
• Right to access – including to request copies of any information i-personalstyling holds about you*.
• Right to change, update or correct information held.
• Right to erase data held on an paper or electronic i-personalstyling file.
• Right to restrict my use of your data – to block or limit the way I use it.

You may not transfer any of your rights under this privacy policy to any other person. We may transfer our rights under this privacy policy where we reasonably believe your rights will not be affected.
If any court or competent authority finds that any provision of this policy or part of any provision is invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision or part-provision will, to the extent required, be deemed to be deleted, and the validity and enforeceability of of the other provisions of this privacy policy will not be affected.
This agreement will be governed by and interpreted according to the law of England and Wales.
Changes to this policy
i-personal styling reserves the right to change this privacy policy as deemed necessary or required by law. Any changes will be immediately posted on the i-personal styling website and you are deemed to have accepted the terms of the policy on your first use of the website following the changes.
